Upwork’s Business Solutions team mission is to identify the barriers that impact account growth, and to partner with cross-functional teams to address and solve these barriers, in an attempt to enable growth. You will develop and build strong partnerships with teams across the organization, along with key stakeholders, in an effort to effectively solve for client needs across various business segments. 


Your Responsibilities:

  • You will lead two agile teams that focus on a) reporting/data capabilities and b) account growth.
  • As a team lead, you will have direct reports that look to you for ongoing coaching and mentorship.
  • Effectively identify barriers to scale and grow an account, and create an effective strategy that drives towards addressing these barriers. 
  • Manage a team of individuals who release product features that drive impact.
  • Drive to increase spend volumes across all segments of clients. 
  • Partner with Sales to ensure their quarterly and annual goals align with yours and launch features that achieve these goals.

  • B2B experience
  • Experience leading a successful Product team
  • Ability to form strong relationships with key partners and cross-functional teams

  • Have deep knowledge and understanding of Enterprise systems, and how they’re built.
  • Creative thinking and track record of delivering product experiences that serve client needs
  • Ability to understand and breakdown complex problems, and frame problems to create cross team alignment and effective solution ideation
  • Strategic and creative thinking that enables you to understand industry and customer trends and apply those insights to deliver business results
