Companies with direct access to the skills they need are in the best position to compete in today’s complex marketplace. The challenge? Building a talent pipeline that can evolve and stay relevant in a way that’s cost-effective and ready when you are.
A new partnership between Upwork and the global workforce management company Workforce Logiq will help organizations leverage the largest global talent pool in a way that integrates seamlessly with existing supplier workflows.
“Our partnership with Upwork is a game-changer in today’s tight labor market,” said Jim Burke, chief executive officer of Workforce Logiq. “Talent wins in business—and the freelance community offers flexible, affordable, and in-demand skills, services, and talent. We’re giving our clients another competitive edge by providing a new channel to find the talent they need to grow.”
Upwork will serve as the freelance talent supplier to Workforce Logiq’s enterprise-level clients, pairing the breadth of their MSP program with the flexibility, reach, competitive pricing, and leading-edge skills of the independent workforce.
Talent sourcing and engagement, streamlined
Upwork’s enterprise solution combines technology with talent sourcing and compliance services to help companies quickly discover, source, and deploy contractors with 5,000 skills across 70 categories of work.
With this partnership, Workforce Logiq’s clients get seamless access to this new freelance talent recruiting channel to engage 1099 and W2 workers—backed by the company’s own analytics, technological innovations, integrated compliance workflow, and expert advisors.
New economic opportunities for independent professionals on Upwork
Through Workforce Logiq, freelance experts on Upwork will have better access to many of the most prestigious companies and sought-after work opportunities on the market—a client network with more than $3 billion in hiring spend.
“We’re committed to connecting great talent with great businesses,” said Stephane Kasriel, chief executive officer of Upwork. “This partnership opens new opportunities for clients and professionals alike by providing flexible access to cutting edge work while decreasing the time to engage and driving operational efficiencies.”
Access to the Upwork talent network will be available to Workforce Logiq’s MSP clients via existing supplier workflows at the beginning of October. Read the full press release here.
